Replacing Wireless ADSL Modem Router at Henley in Arden

Good Morning, We are with a customer on the High street in Henley in Arden, We are here to Install a Netgear wireless ADSL modem router and connect to all the computers and wireless devices at the customers premises.

Update: There was an issue with receiving wireless signal in the kitchen downstairs, We worked out that is was to do with lead in the roof just above the kitchen and with this knowledge we repositioned the router and managed to get a usable internet connection.

Setting up VMware with Windows on an Apple Mac Air in Henley in Arden

This morning we are with a customer on the High Street in Henley in Arden, We are here because the customer has bough a new Apple Macbook Air running OS X Snow Leopard they need it setting up with his wireless network, The customer also wants to run Windows software on this machine so we looked at Parallels Desktop Version 4 and VMware Fusion 3, we opted to try the VMware Fusion as they provided a trial version on download and at this time Parallels seems to be in beta, when finished the VMware worked perfectly with the Quicken and Microsoft Office programs so we purchased the full versions.

Next today we are with a customer in Henley in Arden, We are here to Repair a Compaq PC, The issue on the computer is that it is freezing up, Upon Investigation it is found to have two faults the first was that the processor heat sink was blocked up with dust, and the second was that it had a Trojan Virus, We cleaned up the computer and all is now working well.

Update : it turns out this arrived via an email claiming to be a Federal Express missed delivery and the customer had opened the attachment
