After spending some time updating the antivirus, Flash and JAVA on all the computers involved we rang The Royal Bank of Scotland, We discovered after a lengthy call that the bank had changed the website substantially but had not added a code to reload the page so literally all we needed to do was clear the browser cache and press F5 Grrrr. It does not take much to produce good code but bad code can waste an awful lot of time!.

Good Morning we are in Warwick today and our first job is to help speed up a computer that is running slowly, this is usually achieved by checking the registry and removing unneeded programs, The computer also had a Flash OCX error which was resolved by removing a corrupt screensaver.
For the next job today we are with Duncans travel in Warwick to transfer data from their old PC to a new Computer.

Good Morning today with Warwickshire Trailers at Blunts Green near Henley in Arden to fix the customers broadband problems.
Today we are working at a customers on at Greville Road on the Emscote in Warwick. The customer has managed to break (Shattered) the screen on their MSI U135DX Netbook Computer so we have checked it and ordered the correct part to be fitted after arrival.
For the second job today we are with a customer on the Woodloes in Warwick, We are here to repair a slow running computer as well as perform other maintenance on the machine including cleaning up the registry and removing unneeded programs.
This morning we are at Stockton village near Southam in Warwickshire, We are looking at a customers broadband problems, For some reason the router had lost its ADSL log in information so we reentered and tested by emulating a power cut and this solved the ADSL broadband Problem.

This Morning we are in Royal Leamington Spa removing several Trojan virus and other malware from a Desktop PC.
This morning we are at a customers in Kenilworth to repair a computer the fault with the computer is that it keeps loosing its time and date, This is most likley to be a CMOS Battery issue so we opened up the case and found it needed a CR2032 battery which was replaced and fixed the problem.
This afternoon we are in Warwick working for Sliding Sash Supplies Ltd, We are here to repair a computer that is not not loading, We ran a recovery and was able to then read the drive. The drive how ever was quite old so we installed in to an IDE Adaptor and transferred to another PC.
Now we are in Warwick to remove a fake antivirus from a Laptop computer called My Security Shield, It is believed the customer may have click a link on an email and the only thing this software does is to try to take money from the customer for its use. We edited the registry and removed this Fake Antivirus before scanning with Malwarebytes to make sure all clean then updated the computers antivirus and firewall security.
This Morning we are in Kenilworth to setup a HP Wireless Printer with a Sky ADSL Wireless Router
This morning we are at Bishop’s Itchington between Southam and Kineton in Warwickshire to change a Wireless ADSL Router , this consists of making all the computers work on the new router and transferring the Wireless HP Printer.
Today we have been working around Warwick the first job in Coten End to repair an issue on a laptop computer, The problem being that Word was not loading,
The Second of the day is for solving a Webmail issue on a computer running Windows XP
The Last of the day is for an ongoing ADSL problem the issue here is convincing the broadband operator that the fault is theirs to solve they seem to be giving us more hoops to jump through than usual.
UPDATE the issue in the end was found to be an internal fault on the telephone wiring but the trouble was the line would not increase in speed until 3 days after being added to the test socket unfortunately this is down to how the ADSL system tries to keep fault lines alive.
Good morning we are with a customer at Coten End in Warwick The customer has called us here to performing some maintenance on a HP laptop computer.
There was a few problems on this customers HP laptop computer the main one being that Microsoft Word was not functioning correctly this was found to be caused by a registry error which we rectified and got the customer up and running again
For our last job today we are with a customer at Beverley Road in Leamington Spa to fix Broadband Issues with a Laptop Computer
This afternoon we are with a customers at Stratford on Avon in Warwickshire to perform a computer repair on a desktop PC the issue is with one of the drivers giving a code 39 error message.
To repair this computer we had to edit the registry and reload the correct drivers.

Good Morning Today we have been at a customers in Warwick removing a root kit and Trojan Viruses from a Sony Laptop Computer.
This one created a fake SVC host file Called VzCdbSVC which we had to disable before we could remove. and checked all clean with a malwarebytes scan.

The computer is a laptop PC running Windows XP , after going through all the usual checks registry, Virus check and Malware check, we found that the cause was that there was more than one guard on the web browser and they seemed to conflict with each other.
This morning we are at a customers in Kenilworth to setup a new Sony Vaio Laptop this evolves transferring the data from the customers old laptop setting up any software required and making the computer work with the Wireless Network and a HP Printer.
For the last job today we are at a customers in Leamington Spa to Setup a new Sony Vaio Computer, transfer data from their old PC including favourites and emails, and reinstall any programs to be used.
For the next job today we are on the Beverley Road in Leamington Spa to fix an issue with a HP printer not printing from a windows PC, This just required drivers reinstalling.
Good Morning today we are starting with a computer repair for a customer in Warwick.
The problem on this computer is that it is running slow so we will check the registry run a virus scan and run a Malwarebytes scan to make sure the machine is clean.
It is also worth checking the fan on the processor is not clogged up with dust hair and carpet as this will raise the processor temperature which on the better processors higher temperature equals slow the processor down to compensate.
