Good morning we are with www.noflatbatteries.com at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, we are here to repair sound problem with one of the companies computers, after fixing the issue on the computer we checked the companies website to see which pages need work for future optimisation.
Good afternoon we are with a customer near the Beverley toad at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, we are here to solve an issue with the customers Freeserve (Orange) email accounts.
We are with a customer on The Fairways at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. The customer has reported a browser hijack and other malware and other computer virus problems.
All virus removal tools are disabled by this rootkit and we had to load in safe mode then run the removal tools, it seem McAfee are not currently recognising the root kit Zero Access and we removed by installing the free version of Avast antivirus.
We are now with a customer on Greatheed Road at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, we are here because the customer has reported that their HP printer is not printing , so we need to check what the issue is and if able to get working the customer has never been able to get it Installed as a wireless printer.
Update: Whilst here we tested the HP Deskjet F4580 Printer and found that its wireless is faulty, the BT Infinity is working perfectly, the wireless on the Dell 1545 Laptop was functioning but not at full speed only downloading at 20 megabits per second, whilst cabled and on my wireless test phone it produced above 35 megabits on download. we also updated the customers antivirus to AVG 2012 which found an uninstalled virus in the downloads folder called Trojan Horse Cryptic.BSC, luckily it seems it was downloaded but not running. (several faults occurring here )
Good Afternoon, We are now with Gary Maxwell Photographer at Lillington in Leamington Spa, We are here because the customer has reported a Blue Screen with the error “IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL TO”
Update: After checking the memory and the hard drive the only option we had was to reinstall Windows XP and updated all drivers. We then backed up all the data in case off any further issues.
Good afternoon we are with a customer on Church Hill in Royal Leamington Spa, We are here to remove a Virus that uses random letters plus ftav.exe, The symptoms are a green shield in the resident program icons, We removed this problem by editing the registry, Deleting the Virus Files from the Application Data and Temp Files, And then checked clear by running a Malwarebytes Scan, The Norton antivirus here was very out of date and needed the use of the Norton removal tool to uninstall from the computer, We replaced this with the free AVG antivirus and Zonealarm firewall.
